Meetings on achieving the SDGs are held at a Turkmen university

The book club "Kitap-paýhasyň çeşmesi" of the D. Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages is holding meetings on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. This is reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

A recent meeting at a Turkmen university was dedicated to the implementation of the fifth SDG - "Achieve gender equality and empowerment of all women and girls". The event took place with the participation of students of the university.

UNDP experts familiarized the participants with programs in the field of women's empowerment and gender equality, as well as the role of the young generation in combating gender stereotypes. Such meetings help to raise awareness of the younger generation about the UN-led SDG activities planned in Turkmenistan.
