Turkmen athlete Maria Lokhova won the final of the World Cup-2023

Turkmen athlete Maria Lokhova and Donya Aghae, an athlete representing the Islamic Republic of Iran, took part in the final bout in the women's weight category up to 70 kg at the Olympic City in Ashgabat. This is reported by the online edition of "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

Having defeated her rival from Iran, 29-year-old athlete Maria Lokhova brought another gold medal to the national team of Turkmenistan. The first gold medal of the World Championship was won by Turkmen athlete Dinara Rozykulova.

Also on the first day of the large-scale world championship in Kurash, Turkmen athletes won several silver and bronze awards.
