The two-day European Junior Judo Cup in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which brought together 268 athletes from 18 countries, has ended. Turkmen athletes won three medals at the competition. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".
As previously reported, on the first day of the competition, Turkmen judoka Serdar Rakhimov won a gold medal in the weight category up to 66 kg. The second day of the Cup brought two silver medals to the national team of Turkmenistan.
Turkmen judoka Baimyrat Madzhanov, an 18-year-old first-rate judoka, took silver in the weight category up to 100 kg. This victory is the first major success of the athlete.
Maisa Pardayeva won the silver medal in the girls' 57 kg category. It is not the first time the athlete has been on the podium in major international competitions. Last year Maisa won the Junior Asian Cup in Almaty.
