The new round of CAFA Futsal Cup-2023 was successful for the team from Turkmenistan - the team beat 12-time Asian champion and 2016 World Championship bronze medalist Iran. After the match with Iran, the Turkmenistan team was defeated in the games against Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
Futsal players Mulkaman Annagulyev and Maksat Soltanov distinguished themselves during the match, thanks to which the final score was set at 2:0. The best player of the match was the goalkeeper of Turkmenistan national team Meretgeldy Bayramov.
At the end of this round, the team of Turkmenistan with 6 points shares the 4th-5th place with the club from Uzbekistan. The team from Iran tops the standings.
