Turkmen customs officers have studied the experience of their Japanese colleagues within the framework of online training in the introduction of the Institute of Authorized Economic Operators. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

Officials from the Customs Tariff and Fee Administration of the Ministry of Finance of Japan described the introduction of AEO. This tool provides an opportunity to facilitate international trade if certain requirements are met. The Authorized Economic Operator operates in accordance with World Customs Organization standards and security principles.

The online training was an important step towards cooperation in this area and an agreement on mutual recognition. The Japanese side expressed its willingness to share its experience in other areas of customs activities.
