UN and Turkmenistan held a forum on SDG financing

The UN together with the Government of Turkmenistan organized a side event of the Investment Forum at the UN House in Ashgabat on financing for sustainable development. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the UN Office in Ashgabat.

The forum was attended by representatives of government agencies, UN experts and development partners. The participants of the event shared the results of the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development and discussed national policies on financing the Sustainable Development Goals.

During the meeting, the results of the joint SDG financing needs assessment were presented. The experts also explored best practices from European and Central Asian regions in attracting investments for sustainable development.

The event reaffirmed Turkmenistan's commitment to strengthening international partnerships and developing effective financing strategies to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
