Turkmen customs officers participated in an online meeting on customs risk management

An online meeting between customs specialists from Turkmenistan and China was held on November 7, 2023. This was reported by the Internet publication "Westiabad."

The meeting was dedicated to discussing the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Customs Risk Management. The main topics of the conversation included the illegal movement of goods through border crossings, reducing the level of risk when goods pass through customs, and strengthening cooperation towards information exchange between regions.

On the part of China, representatives of the General Administration of Customs participated in the meeting. Customs specialists from Central Asian countries also took part in the dialog.
