Turkmenistan's Akhal successfully started the AFC-2 Champions League

Akhal Football Club won the AFC Champions League-2 match over Indian Mohun Bagan with the score 1:0. The only goal of the match was scored by 19-year-old Enver Annaev in the 83rd minute, which brought the Turkmen team 3 points in the group stage. This is reported by MIC.

One of the oldest clubs in Asia, Mohun Bagan could not resist the well-coordinated game of the Turkmen team. "Ahal" demonstrated superiority in key indicators: ball possession (57%), shots on goal (12) and shots on goal (5). It is especially worth noting that the Turkmen club achieved victory without the participation of foreigners.

According to the results of the first round, Akhal, together with Jordan's Al-Hussein, tops the standings of Group C. The Turkmen team will play its next match on September 30 against the Jordanian club at home.
