Turkmen poet Ismail Muhammetdurdyev, winner of the Youth Prize of Turkmenistan, has won the international literary contest "Golden Pencils" held every year by the Republic of Turkey. This is reported on the website of Türkmenistan habarlar portaly.
On August 26, Bursa hosted an award ceremony for the winners of the contest, during which Ismail Muhammetdurdiyev received the poetry prize for his poem "Above all, the Motherland". More than 50 poets from Turkey, Turkmenistan, Germany and Uzbekistan took part in the Golden Pencils literary contest.
It is noted that Ismail Muhammetdurdyev has previously won prestigious competitions. In 2016, Mr. Muhammetdurdyev won the Presidential Award "Golden Age of Turkmens", and in 2017 - the winner of the contest of scientific works among the youth of Turkmenistan.
