Turkmen Symphony Orchestra gave a concert "Italian Symphony"

The National Music and Drama Theater named after Makhtumkuli successfully hosted a concert of the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan under the guidance of artistic director and chief conductor Rasul Klychev "Italian Symphony". This is reported by the Internet edition "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age."

The concert of Italian works was opened by the composition "Italian Symphony No. 4" by German composer Mendelssohn, known worldwide for his "Wedding March". The audience received no less warmly Peter Tchaikovsky's piece "Italian Capriccio", inspired by the composer's trip to Italy. The evening concluded with performances of Rossini's operas The Thieving Magpie and William Tell.
As an encore, the musicians performed a fragment from Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's opera Swan Lake.
