Ankara will host the II International Weightlifting Tournament in memory of Naim Suleymanoglu, which will be attended by Turkmen athletes. The competition will be held from November 15 to 17. Turkmen weightlifters will be accompanied by two coaches and an international judge.
Naim Suleymanoglu is the first three-time Olympic champion and seven-time world champion in the history of weightlifting, who set 46 world records. The weightlifter won the most titles in the history of the sport.
The Eurasian International Shooting and Archery Competitions will begin in Georgia on November 15. In Batumi, the competition will last until November 21. Turkmenistan will be represented by eight archers. Their coach will also go to the tournament to accompany and support their charges.
