On November 16 of this year, Turkmenistan will begin registration for a competition to allow students to go to the United States for the next academic year (2023/2024) to live and study in the United States. Winners of the competition will stay with visiting families and study in local schools on a par with American students. The deadline to register for the contest is December 14, 2022. Registration will take place by completing the FLEX questionnaire.
Only citizens of Turkmenistan born strictly between March 15, 2005 and May 31, 2007 can participate. Required criteria are: good academic performance, proficiency in English and no grounds for denial of a U.S. visa. Exception will be students who have been in the U.S. for more than 3 months in the past 5 years.
The U.S. government, through the FLEX program, pays for the travel, lodging, tuition, and other financial expenses of the Turkmen students in the United States.
