OGT-2023 kicked off in Ashgabat

The conference and exhibition "Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan - 2023" with participation of more than 700 delegates from 46 countries of the world started its work in Ashgabat. Among the participants are vice-presidents of leading energy companies, representatives of banks, environmental organizations, the UN and the OSCE. This is reported by the online edition of "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

The event is dedicated to the transition to green energy and has the slogan "Reliable. Sustainable. Clean Energy". In addition, the forum has become an open platform for discussing such issues as renewable energy sources and the fight against global climate change.

Turkmenistan is one of the largest players in the global energy market. Turkmenistan ranks fourth in the world in terms of proven natural gas reserves.
