Construction of Şatlyk-1 station started in Turkmenistan

Chairman of Halk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the ceremony of laying the foundation of Şatlyk-1 gas compressor station within his working visit to Mary province. This is reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."

The design, construction, equipping and commissioning of the station are carried out by the Turkish company Çalik Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. under the contract with the State Corporation Turkmengaz. The relevant decree was signed by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.

Foreign specialists will carry out reconstruction and construction of new external engineering systems and facilities for the station, including electricity, gas and water supply, communication and sewerage with connection to the general network.

The Şatlyk-1 station, according to the contract, will be commissioned by September 2026. It will increase the volume of Turkmen gas production and exports.
