On Friday, September 22, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the International Conference "Independence of Turkmenistan: Experience and Prospects of International Cooperation". The event was dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the country's independence. This is reported on the official website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Khalk Maslakhaty and Mejlis of Turkmenistan, as well as members of the Cabinet of Ministers, teachers and students of Turkmen universities, representatives of international organizations and mass media, heads and specialists of various ministries and departments.
Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov made an opening speech, emphasizing that the country is currently on the path of large-scale transformations in various spheres, fulfilling the task of becoming one of the most developed countries in the world.
Within the framework of the conference, an exhibition was organized to tell the guests of the event about the achievements of Turkmenistan.
