Starting April 1, Turkmenistan will resume running trains between Ashgabat and Dashoguz. Passenger trains will run from Ashgabat to the provincial center and back once a week.
Earlier, in March 2021, passenger rail traffic between Ashgabat and Turkmenabat was resumed.
You can view the schedule online Turkmen Railway Agency. The trains running along the above-mentioned routes will also make stops in the administrative center of Mary velayat. Railway routes in the direction of the remaining settlements and the capital are suspended until April 15, 2021.
The termination of bus and train services by Turkmenistan took place on July 16, 2020. This decision was made in order to prevent and reduce the growth of infectious diseases.
