A new season has begun in the State Circus of Turkmenistan.
According to "Turkmenistan: The Golden Age," Turkmen circus performers showed a premiere performance at the Ashgabat arena last weekend. The program included performances by aerial gymnasts, acrobats, tightrope walkers, animal trainers and many others.
And, of course, the main action of the program is the show of participants of the equestrian group Galkynysh, managed by the leader of the Turkmen horsemen Pygy Bairamdurdyev. Dzhigitovka is the genre for which the Turkmen circus art is famous all over the world.
Recall that the Turkmen State Circus was established in 2009 after reconstructing the two-story circus building located on Makhtumkuli Avenue. In 2010, a school-studio for teaching circus art was opened.
