Deputy Prime Minister of Turkmenistan presented a report on the progress of reforms in the agro-industrial complex

Deputy Prime Minister T. Atakhallyev presented a report on the implementation of reforms in the agricultural sector during an extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on February 9. This was reported by Centralasia.news.

The volume of agricultural production amounted to 106.8%, including 107% for the Ministry of Agriculture, 100.1% for the Ministry of Environmental Protection, 105.4% for the State Water Management Committee and 101.3% for the State Association of Türkmen atlary. The plan on investment utilization was fulfilled by 197.9%.

The meeting addressed topical issues of creating additional water reserves for land irrigation and rational use of water resources. Summarizing the report, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted the importance of preserving and enriching the country's ecosystem.
