Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan reported on sustainable GDP growth rates

At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on April 15 this year, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers H. Geldimiradov made a report on macroeconomic indicators for the first quarter of 2023. This is reported by the online publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

It was noted that the volume of manufactured products increased by 6% compared to the same period last year. Also, Deputy Prime Minister reported the growth of retail trade indicators in the domestic market by 9.5%, and in the foreign market by 8.4%.

The indicator of wages in large and medium-sized enterprises has also increased by 9.8%, if compared to the same period of 2022. H. Geldimiradov reported on the full financing of salaries, pensions, allowances and scholarships.

Within the framework of the Program of the President of Turkmenistan on socio-economic development of the country for 2022-2028, out of 370 objects to be constructed and reconstructed, 7 structures have already been built, 105 of them are under construction, and preparatory works have been started on the remaining objects.
