The volume of communication services provision in Turkmenistan increased by 11.8%

During the Cabinet of Ministers meeting held on April 15, the Chairman of the State Statistics Committee reported on the work for the first three months of this year. This was reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

Д. Amanmuhammedov in his report spoke about the stable growth dynamics in the field of oil and gas production, electricity generation and other types of products. The transportation and communication sector of the economy has also achieved stable indicators. The volume of provision of communication services increased by 11.8%.

Successes are also observed in the agro-industrial complex: the production of vegetables, berries and fruits, meat and milk is increasing.

The Chairman of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan also informed the President about the improvement of data collection methods based on international standards.
