The best alabai of the year will be chosen at the contest in Ashgabat

The international contest "Ýylyň türkmen edermen alabaýy" will be held in Ashgabat on October 26, the news site reports Asmannews.

The order to hold the event was signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov under Resolution No. 2222 of April 9, 2021.

The competition is aimed at promoting the Turkmen Alabai as a national symbol and a source of pride. In addition to the main competition program, there are creative contests for carpet makers, painters, sculptors, photographers, publishers and TV cameramen.

The participants will present works dedicated to alabays in different genres of art, publishing, photography and videography. The President of Turkmenistan also approved the composition of the jury, which will evaluate the works and determine the winners.
