According to Argus Media, the trader "SOCAR Trading (Azerbaijan) стал победителем тендерного конкурса на приобретение нефти из Туркменистана, поставляемой «Eni Turkmenistan». С 2017 г. право на покупку туркменских ресурсов было у одного из крупнейших нефтетрейдеров мира – Vitol.
