Foreign Ministers Meredov and Qureshi met in Islamabad to strengthen regional cooperation by discussing a number of important economic and energy issues. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 48th session of the Foreign Affairs Council.
During the session, they discussed the implementation of partnership projects in the energy sector, which have high potential. Qureshi stressed the importance of closer cooperation in the fields of investment and trade and, for his part, expressed his readiness for a long-term partnership.
The ministers agreed on the need for economic integration to achieve stability and peace. Cooperation between the two countries could provide a solid foundation for the development of a regional trade center.
