A new office of the Embassy of Israel was opened in Ashgabat

The opening ceremony of the new office of the Embassy of Israel in Turkmenistan took place on April 20. Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen arrived in Turkmenistan a day earlier to participate in the event.

In addition to the Israeli Foreign Minister, the opening ceremony was attended by the heads of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan, representatives of the diplomatic corps and the Jewish community in Turkmenistan, ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Bahrain, the United States, Romania and Ukraine. The event is reported on the official website of the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan.

Eli Cohen expressed confidence that the opening of the new office of the diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan will strengthen relations between Turkmenistan and Israel and lead to the expansion of cooperation in various spheres.
