Grain harvesting started in Dashoguz and Balkan provinces of Turkmenistan

Bread harvest is in full swing in Turkmenistan. Farmers of Lebap, Akhal and Mary velayats started mowing a week earlier, and on June 9, farmers of Dashoguz and Balkan velayats started harvesting grain crops. This is reported by the Internet publication "Turkmenistan: Golden Age".

The beginning of reaping was preceded by training seminars with participation of velayat and etrap khakimliks, qualified agronomists and mechanizers, tenant farmers.

On the occasion of sending the first tons of grain to the Motherland, festive events were held in Dashoguz and Balkan velayats. An exhibition of agro-industrial complex products and agricultural machinery was organized. Creative groups prepared dance and musical numbers for the farmers, sportsmen organized demonstrative performances.
