At the large natural gas field "Galkynysh" employees of the State Concern "Turkmengaz" drilled a well 4.6 kilometers deep and carried out blasting operations at a depth of 4.5-4.3 kilometers. This is reported in the newspaper "Turkmenistan".
As a result of the work carried out by the drillers, new inflows of industrial gas were obtained. The specialists carried out the whole range of works with the help of Japanese equipment and the latest drilling methodology. Türkmengazburawlaýyş Department actively used Japanese Sumitomo pumping pipes and reinforcement deepeners.
The Galkynysh field is currently at the first stage of development out of seven planned. In order to gradually increase exports of natural gas, the State Concern plans to significantly increase the inflow of gas from the Galkynysh field.
