Turkmenistan registered an eco-technology for diethylene glycol regeneration

New technology for sustainable energy will help improve efficiency

The State Service for Intellectual Property of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan has registered the copyright for the innovative technology of regeneration of water-saturated diethylene glycol using alternative energy sources. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the publication Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

The development was created by specialists of the Laboratory of Energy Production and Conservation of the International Science and Technology Park of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan - M. Khudaiberdiev, R. Esedulaev, D. Gadamov and A. Pirmedov.

The new technology is designed to improve the process of diethylene glycol regeneration at oil and gas condensate fields. The main goal is to prevent the formation of methane hydrates in pipelines.

The innovative method is based on the creation of a thin layer of water-saturated diethylene glycol using energy from special storage facilities. This significantly reduces energy consumption and prevents thermal degradation.

The key advantage of the technology is environmental safety. The process does not emit carbon dioxide and other harmful substances, minimizing the negative impact on the environment.

The solution provides an uninterrupted supply of absorbent with a concentration of 99% or higher for efficient natural gas drying. In addition, the technology helps improve oil flowability and eliminate paraffin-resin plugs in pipelines.
