Today, September 25, the National Music and Drama Theater named after Makhtumkuli hosted a ceremony of awarding state awards to cultural figures and winners of the Turkmenistan President's contest "Türkmeniň Altyn asyry". This was reported by the Internet publication "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".
During the ceremony, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's address was heard, as well as the Presidential Decrees on awarding state honors and the Decree on awarding the winners of the "Türkmeniň Altyn asyry" contest. The winners of the contests expressed their gratitude to the Head of State for creating excellent conditions for creative activity.
The event was followed by a festive concert on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary of Turkmenistan's independence. Participants and honored guests of the concert were the winners of the contest, poets and writers, leaders of creative teams, artists and media representatives.
