М. Mammedova: Turkmen city of Anau - the capital of the Turkic World-2024

Deputy Prime Minister M. Mammadova reported to the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on awarding the Turkmen city of Anau the honorary title of "Cultural Capital of the Turkic World-2024" within the framework of the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan on December 15, 2023. This is reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

In her report during the meeting, which was held in the digital format, M. Mammadova reported to the President on the cultural events held in connection with the proclamation of the ancient Turkmen city of Anau as the capital of the Turkic World for the next year. The schedule of events was approved and an organizing committee responsible for its implementation was formed.

The Deputy Prime Minister reported to the President on the ceremony of awarding the "Cultural Capital of the Turkic World-2024" symbol. Having heard the report, Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized that all events held in connection with the proclamation of Anau as the capital of the Turkic World - forums, scientific conferences, exhibitions and festivals - should be prepared at a high level.
