According to the results of the 14th international rhythmic gymnastics tournament among children "Merry Caravan 2024" in Tashkent, young athletes from Turkmenistan managed to win 29 medals - 18 gold, 10 silver and 1 bronze. This is reported by the Internet edition "Türkmenistan habarlar portaly".
Besides Turkmenistan, athletes from 9 countries competed for medals in individual and group programs. Turkmenistan was represented by 39 gymnasts from Ashgabat, Mary and Balkan provinces. The gymnasts were prepared for the tournament by the senior coach of the national team Fiza Ayvazova, as well as Marina Kartashova, Irina Kostandyan and Elena Ustimova.
Gold medalists were G. Yagshimyradova, M. Amanova, S. Khemraeva, E. Streltsova, S. Benz, A. Benz, R. Amanova, M. Gurbanova, B. Kotukova, S. Gulberdiyeva, A. Gunaslan, L. Avanesova, S. Khoja-Akhmetova, I. Kononova, M. Akyyeva, A. Alekperova, L. Batyrova, F. Kambarova. Silver medals were awarded to S. Tavaratsyan, A. Akyeva, Y. Maltseva, I. Khanova, G. Gurbanova, A. Abdullaeva, A. Garadzhayeva, A. Tyachgulyeva, E. Hakyeva, H. Javadova. The bronze medal was won by S. Bashirova.
