Turkmenistan participated in the completion of the BOMCA-10 program

The delegation of Turkmenistan took part in the events on completion of the 10th stage of the Border Management Assistance Program in Central Asia (BOMCA-10), which were held in Bishkek from September 3 to 5. Arzuw.news reports with reference to Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

The Turkmen delegation was headed by the Head of the Training Center of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan. The opening ceremony of the Analytical Center of the Border Guard Service of the Kyrgyz Republic, established with the assistance of the Program, took place within the framework of the events.

The BOMCA-10 program was implemented from April 2021 to September 2025. The main directions of the program were improvement of border management, facilitation of legal trade, development of cross-border cooperation and improvement of living conditions in border regions.

At the final conference, the participants summarized the results of the final phase and defined the prospects for the 11th phase of the Program. The representatives of the Turkmen delegation shared the accumulated experience on strengthening work in the field of border management and enhancing professional training of specialists.
