On September 6, the Turkmen Embassy in Japan hosted a meeting with students of Fukuoka High School of Fujimino City, Saitama Prefecture. This was reported by the Internet edition "Westiabad."
During the meeting, Japanese schoolchildren were familiarized with Turkmen culture and history within the framework of the motto of 2024 in Turkmenistan "Treasure Trove of Makhtumkuli Fraghi's Mind". The specialists prepared a presentation for the Japanese youth telling about the role of Makhtumkuli Fraghi's work in the literature of the East and the traditional friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Japan.
In addition, the concept of a "smart" city was presented to the schoolchildren on the example of the Turkmen city of Arkadag. Ambassador A. Bayramov presented the participants with memorable gifts. The meeting ended with a tasting of traditional Turkmen dishes.
