A solemn Russian-Turkmen concert dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the International Year of Peace and Trust will be held on August 15 in the Rachmaninov Hall of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory.
The event is organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia together with the Sounds of Dutar Foundation. The concert is part of the XIX International Music Festival "Gathering Friends".
The organizers note that the event is inspired by the book of the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov "Music of Peace, Music of Friendship and Brotherhood". Famous Turkmen academic and folk musicians will take part in the concert.
In addition to the music program, the event will feature art and book exhibitions representing Turkmen culture and art.
It is worth recalling that on August 21 last year in the same hall a concert "Truly he became the mouth of Turkmenistan" dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the great Turkmen poet Makhtumkuli Fraghi was successfully held.
