Ashgabat, July 10 - Arzuw.news. Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with the head of the Foreign Ministry of the Republic of Chad Abdoulaye Sabre Fadul. This is reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
The diplomats focused on the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral relations between the two countries. The Ministers exchanged views on topical areas of cooperation.
A special place in the negotiations was given to the discussion of interaction within the framework of international organizations. The sides considered the possibilities of coordinating positions in various multilateral platforms.
A significant part of the conversation was devoted to preparations for the forthcoming Third UN Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries. The foreign ministers discussed organizational aspects of this important international event.
