Ashgabat, July 19 - Arzuw.news. A delegation of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan consisting of four specialists has completed two weeks of training at the Shanghai Customs Institute, which was held from July 1 to 14 this year. This is reported by the publication Turkmenistan: Golden Age.
The training course on customs risk management was organized with the support of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China specifically for customs officials from Central Asian countries.
As part of the program, Turkmen specialists studied Chinese experience in forecasting and preventing customs risks, as well as familiarized themselves with modern intelligent technologies of customs control. Special attention was paid to studying the systems "Authorized Economic Operators," "Smart Customs," and "Single Window for Export-Import Operations.
The practical part of the training included visits to an intelligent border crossing point, an automated terminal, the Asia-Pacific market, the SCO Center, as well as manufacturing enterprises and logistics hubs.
The representative of the Turkmen delegation made a presentation on the national risk management system, presenting the country's achievements in the field of digitalization of customs activities and risk analysis. The presentation aroused considerable interest of the participants and became the basis for a constructive dialog with foreign colleagues.
Participation in this program is considered as an important step for introduction of the world's best practices into the activities of the Customs Service of Turkmenistan.
