Moscow, July 31 - Arzuw.news. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to Russia E.M. Aidogdiyev held a meeting with Executive Secretary of the Coordination Council of Prosecutors General of CIS member states Y.N. Zhdanov. Arzuw.news reports with reference to the press service of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia.
The parties discussed topical issues related to the development of cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the Commonwealth countries. Particular attention was paid to the organization of forthcoming meetings within the framework of cooperation between the Prosecutor Generals' Offices of the CIS member states.
During the talks, an agreement was reached to hold a session of the Coordination Council of Prosecutors General in the fall of this year. In order to prepare for this event, a meeting of deputy prosecutors of CIS countries, who are in charge of international cooperation issues, will be held in Moscow at the end of August.
The meeting was held on July 29 and became another step in strengthening legal interaction between the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
