Turkmenistan participates in exchange of experience on statistics and labor market

The Turkmen delegation together with representatives of Great Britain and other Central Asian countries took part in the forum on exchange of experience in the field of migration statistics, analysis of the impact on the labor market and adaptation of data to the needs of users. The event was held in Dushanbe, reports the news agency "Westiabad".

The meeting was initiated by the UK government and the EGED program. National statistical services of Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in the discussions.

During the work, representatives of Central Asian countries held bilateral talks with British specialists aimed at developing cooperation in the field of statistics.

The EGED ("Good Governance for Economic Development") program has been implemented for five years with financial support from Great Britain. Its goal is to promote efficiency, transparency and accountability of economic policy in the region.
