Meredov meets with Japanese Ambassador in Ashgabat

Turkmen Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov held a meeting with Japanese Ambassador to Turkmenistan Hiroshi Sasaki. This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The meeting was held today in the building of the Foreign Ministry of the republic. During the talks, the diplomats discussed topical issues of Turkmen-Japanese cooperation.

The participants of the meeting paid special attention to the importance of high-level and high-level visits for strengthening interstate ties between the two countries. The sides noted the importance of maintaining regular political dialog.

In addition, the Minister and the Ambassador discussed the schedule of upcoming meetings in bilateral and multilateral formats in the near future. The diplomats agreed on plans to intensify cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan in various spheres.
