President of Turkmenistan congratulates Korea on Liberation Day

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent a congratulatory message to the head of the Republic of Korea Lee Jae Myung on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the country's Liberation Day. This is reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.

In his address, the President of Turkmenistan emphasized the high level of friendly relations between the two countries. President Berdimuhamedov expressed strong confidence that the bilateral ties will continue to develop and strengthen for the benefit of the peoples of both countries.

The Turkmen leader wished his Korean counterpart good health, happiness and personal well-being. The people of the Republic of Korea were conveyed sincere wishes for peace, stable progress and comprehensive prosperity.

Korean Liberation Day is celebrated annually on August 15 to commemorate the end of Japanese colonial rule in 1945.
