IMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted a conference on international partnership

On September 30, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan hosted the conference "International Cooperation: Guarantee of Strengthening Peace and Sustainable Development". The event was attended by employees and heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of diplomatic missions and international organizations, as well as students and teachers of Turkmen universities. In his speech, Foreign Minister R. Meredov outlined the priorities of the country's foreign policy. He emphasized Turkmenistan's commitment to the central role of the UN in world affairs and the implementation of the "Pact of the Future". Among the key initiatives were proposals to proclaim 2028 the Year of International Law, as well as to expand the use of instruments of neutrality and preventive diplomacy to ensure global security.

The forum participants, including heads of diplomatic missions of the Central Asian states and representatives of the UN structures, highly appreciated the initiatives of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov presented at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

At the end of the conference, the participants expressed unanimous support for Turkmenistan's foreign policy course.
