Turkmenistan: exports by $10.4 mln for the week

The State Commodity Exchange of Turkmenistan registered 32 trade deals last week, the total value of export transactions exceeded 10.4 million U.S. dollars. Arzuw.news reports with reference to Turkmenistan: Golden Age.

Entrepreneurs from Turkey, UAE and Georgia purchased products of Turkmen state corporations for foreign currency. The list of export goods included liquefied gas produced by Türkengaz State Corporation, low-sulfur fuel oil from Türkmennebit State Corporation and polyethylene pipes from Türkmenhimiýa State Corporation.

Businesses from the UAE, Kyrgyzstan and Serbia purchased textile products and medicinal raw materials. They purchased woolen cloth, denim products, and licorice roots and rhizomes for foreign currency.

The domestic market showed higher trading volumes. Domestic businessmen purchased goods worth over AZN 59.9 million. The list of domestic purchases included carbon black produced by "Türkmenhimiýa" SC, base oil and oil road bitumen from "Türkmennebit" SC.

Cotton yarn, tea drink with licorice root and iodine solution were also sold on the domestic market.
