Turkmenistan: economic growth and development results for the first nine months of 2025

At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov summarized the results of the first nine months of 2025. This is reported by the news agency "Westiabad.".

The country's GDP grew by 6.3%. The development of industry, construction, agriculture, transportation and services was noted. Retail trade turnover increased by 13%, foreign trade turnover - by 8.5%. Salaries increased by almost 12%. The budget was executed with a surplus.

During this period, 16 laws were adopted and regulatory acts were amended. More than 100 international meetings were held, more than 130 agreements with foreign partners were signed.

Oil production and refining exceeded the plan. In agriculture the growth amounted to more than 12%, sowing and harvesting works are underway. The construction-industrial complex fulfilled the plan by 105%, new projects are being implemented.

Special attention is paid to culture, education, health care and sports. Major events take place, schoolchildren and athletes show high results at international competitions.

Foreign policy is aimed at strengthening ties with neighboring countries and international organizations. Active diplomatic work is carried out.

The President stressed the need to maintain growth, improve legislation and social programs, and raise the quality of life. The head of state gave instructions to ensure macroeconomic stability and sustainable development.
