The growth of popularity of tennis in Turkmenistan was noted at the General Assembly in Almaty

The meeting of the Board of Directors and the General Assembly of the Asian Tennis Federation (ATF) with the participation of representatives of 36 countries ended in Almaty. The forum noted the progress in the development of tennis in Turkmenistan and expressed gratitude to the country's leadership for supporting this Olympic sport. The organization of the ITF Level 2 regional coaching seminar in Ashgabat in August this year was highly appreciated. The achievements of Turkmen athletes in the international arena, including performances at the Asian Children's Championships and in the Billie Jean King Cup competitions, were especially emphasized.

As part of the visit to the General Assembly, a delegation from Turkmenistan attended the opening of the prestigious ATP 250 tournament in Almaty. In addition, from October 17 to 19, Turkmen coaches will take part in the training seminar "Tennis Drives - Fitness Support". It will be conducted by leading ITF experts: world-class fitness coach Dario Novak and tennis development officer Hrvoje Zmajic. The aim of the event is to establish effective interaction between tennis and fitness coaches for athletes to achieve maximum results.
