Turkmen medics discussed achievements and prospects of health care with foreign colleagues

A scientific-practical conference dedicated to the Day of Health Workers of Turkmenistan was held in the multidisciplinary hospital of Arkadag city. The event was organized within the framework of discussion of the state program "Health" and brought together leading domestic specialists and their foreign colleagues from Germany and Turkey. It reports MIC. 

Foreign experts highly appreciated the level of development of the Turkmen healthcare system, emphasizing its compliance with WHO standards and notable achievements in the field of disease prevention and treatment.

Prof. Hendrik Bergert, a surgeon from the University Hospital of Erfurt (Germany), aroused considerable interest among the audience. In his speech he highlighted topical issues and modern techniques in cardiac surgery, as well as in the treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system.

Holding this conference in Arkadag clearly demonstrates Turkmenistan's commitment to strengthening international cooperation and active introduction of best practices for the development of national medicine.
