Agency "Türkmenawtoulaglary" signed a $$60 million contract with a South Korean automaker Hyundai Motor to purchase 400 Super Aero City city buses. The company announced this on Sunday, reports The Korea Herald.
Hyundai Motor's contract with Türkmenawtoulaglary is the company's second largest overseas deal. The auto giant plans to start production of 400 Hyundai AII New Super Aero City buses as early as May this year and introduce them by December 12.
Recall that earlier, on March 6, President Berdymukhamedov signed the decreeThe agency "Türkmenawtoulaglary" authorized to conclude a contract with Hyundai.
To date, Hyundai Motor has provided Turkmenistan with 1,200 city buses.
