Well-known publicist Serdar Akiniyazov told about unique paleontological finds on the territory of the Koytendag State Reserve, which are very likely to be included in the prestigious World Heritage List.
The most important find is located at an altitude of 1,500 meters above sea level. About 2,500 fossilized footprints of Jurassic dinosaurs were discovered in the Koytendag Mountains, causing a real world sensation.
The find allowed scientists to make assumptions about the size of the ancient animals, as well as the terrain and climatic conditions of the region in the distant era.
According to paleontologists, the fossilized footprints found in the reserve belong to dinosaurs of different species - predators and herbivores.
