Turkmenistan has created all opportunities for fruitful and cheerful summer vacations. This year, the younger generation is enjoying rest in modern children's health centers in Hekder, regions of the republic and the national tourist zone "Avaza". This was reported by the correspondent of Arzuw.news.
Representatives of the education sector, public organizations and parents take part in the festive events on the occasion of children's departure for summer vacations. Participants of such celebrations and close relatives of the children express their sincere gratitude to Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov for their tireless care and attention to the organization of recreation and leisure activities and health of young citizens of the republic.
One of the most beautiful corners of the country - the Gorge of Gekdere - is studded with health resorts that delight their young guests during vacations. All 14 children's health centers have created all conditions for modern recreation of thousands of children. The children's health centers include cultural departments, medical stations, libraries, canteens, sports grounds, hobby groups, gyms and computer rooms.
Swimming pools in health resorts are designed for both recreation and competitions. Many health resorts have small water parks where children learn to swim and stay on the water under the close attention of coaches and teachers. Young vacationers do not part with their sports hobbies and are engaged in tennis, soccer, volleyball, athletics, gymnastics, a checkers and chess.
The children are looked after by experienced teachers, as well as university students who have come for internships. Daily activities at the center are carried out according to a plan of events. The children eat six meals a day, go to bed and get up on schedule, and show their talents in sports, drawing, music, singing, dancing and other creative activities.
Every morning the vacationers start with physical exercises, then have a hearty breakfast. During the day, they go on excursions to museums, watch theater and circus performers, and get acquainted with the works of artists. This summer the pupils of one of the centers in Gekder visited the equestrian circus named after Gerogly in the city of Arkadag. Artists of the Russian Drama Theater named after A.S. Pushkin and other creative groups came to the health centers and showed interesting performances.
"My classmates and I came to a children's recreation center to do an internship. The children were divided into 14 groups depending on their age. In summer, the numerous fruit trees growing on the territory of the Children's Health Center are laden with ripe fruit. In their free time, the children harvest and provide themselves with a tasty and healthy dessert," said Guljakhan Abdyeva, a student of the Faculty of Turkmen Language and Literature of the Makhtumkuli TSU.
During the vacation, children had the opportunity to demonstrate their talents in various sports and activities. Fourteen teams from children's recreation centers located in the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains took part in fire-applied competitions. Young firefighters ran an obstacle course for time, connected and disconnected water hoses, and fought the flames with a fire extinguisher.
"Holding such events helps to improve civic and patriotic education of young people, popularize the profession of a firefighter, and reveal the physical abilities of young people. Maybe for some of them such competitions and preventive talks will be the first step towards choosing their future profession," said Senior Inspector of the Fire Safety Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan, Lieutenant Colonel of Internal Service Gurbangeldi Atageldiev.
In the current year in Hecdera there were competitions between the pupils of the DOCs in fijtal sports. The children determined the strongest in several disciplines and demonstrated their skills in electronic games and simulators, as well as on soccer, tennis, dance grounds and running tracks.
While some children master digital technologies and consolidate their school knowledge, others can engage in creative activities. All centers have a special spacious room where children watch their favorite TV shows and cartoons. According to the joint decision of teachers and parents of young campers in many centers, children can use cell phones and other gadgets for a strictly limited time to communicate with their loved ones.
"Our center is located on the shore of the Caspian Sea and is designed for 400 people. Our air is sea air, clean, enriched with iodine and other microelements so useful for health. Playing and resting on the seashore, children strengthen their immunity, improve their health during the summer season. Many parents notice that after a trip to the sea, children do not get sick all winter, are active and study well," said Gulshat Rakhmanova, a teacher at the Gara altyn Children's Health Center.
This year, Russian schoolchildren who successfully performed at the International Mathematics Olympiad in the city of Arkadag rested in Dayanch Recreation Center. The children came to Avaza for vacation thanks to the support of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation and were impressed by the sincere hospitality, kindness and openness of local residents.
"It was my first time spending a vacation away from home, but I really enjoyed it. When my mom and dad told my brother and me that they would send us to a children's health center, we jumped for joy and were looking forward to seeing this cool place with our own eyes. It's really nice to spend time with new acquaintances, play and learn a lot of interesting things every day. We will definitely come here next year!" - said Merjen Charikulova, a 5th grade student of secondary school #23 in Khojambaz district of Lebap region.
