During the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, which was held on February 16, the results of the country's agro-industrial complex for January 2024 were summarized. This was reported by the online publication "TurkmenPortal".
According to the report of Deputy Prime Minister T. Atakhallyev, the production growth rate in the industry amounted to 101% compared to the same period last year. The growth rate of production of the Ministry of Agriculture amounted to 100.2%, the Ministry of Environmental Protection - 123.3%, the State Committee of Water Management - 111.6%, the State Association of Türkmen atlary - 102.1%. The plan on investment utilization was fulfilled by 193%. It was noted that care of wheat crops and preparation for spring cotton sowing season are being carried out.
After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of rational use of water resources and improvement of water supply systems.
