A new Boeing 777-300 ER passenger airplane arrived in Ashgabat

Today, January 5, 2024, a new passenger plane "Boeing 777-300 ER" arrived in Ashgabat. This was reported by the Telegram channel of the online publication "Türkmenistan Habarlar Portaly".

The aircraft of the American company Boenig was purchased as part of the modernization of civil aviation infrastructure in accordance with the National Program for the Development of Civil Aviation of Turkmenistan until 2030.

This is the second Boenig airplane delivered to Turkmenistan. The first passenger aircraft arrived at Ashgabat airport on December 4, 2023. The airliner arrived today is characterized by high comfort and can carry 368 passengers. 40 seats in the new airplane belong to business class, 32 - to premium economy and 296 seats - to economy class.

The new aircraft has two powerful GE90-115BL2 engines, can cover a distance of 11390 kilometers and perform international transportation with cargo up to 40 tons.
