On December 5, 2024, Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Dunyagozel Gulmanova met with Saif bin Rashid bin Saif Al-Jahwari, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to Turkmenistan (with residence in Ankara). The Chairperson of the Mejlis accepted the Ambassador's credentials and on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished him success in fulfilling the responsible diplomatic mission.
In the course of the conversation, the sides noted the strategic nature of cooperation between the two states. It was emphasized that there are prospects for strengthening partnership ties in trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
